This book has really got my inspired!!

I'm currently reading a book called "Moods of future joys" by Alastair Humphreys. There's no end to this guys madness, he finished his uni degree and the next thing he was off on his bike for an expedition accomponied by friends along the way but with no experience what so ever on riding he got on his bike and left everything behind his girlfriend and the English lifestyle. Leaving from the Yorkshire dales he the rode to dover then through France and down to Istanbul, i recently watched a documentry on Mark Beumont who cycled single handly around the world but however he had numerous amount of sponsers unlike Alastair he had nothing but himself i have got about 70 pages left but already this guys courage and his heart not to get beaten even though the goal he set himself was more than physically and mentally impossible to anyone even the keenest of cyclists to cycle around the world.
Having a small budget of 7,000 pound the odds were stacked hugely against him to succeed he has travelled through some of roughest terrains including the east of Africa, deserts, mountains and no roads to cycle on his determintation to succeed. I will countinue to read and tell you the feed back on what i think of this marvelous act of bravery, determintation and courage to do the impossible. This guy really amazes me and continues to surprise me, he went through the worst part of Africa well what i think is Zimbabwe and defies the odds of going through such a country with termoil poverty and his pain is felt by me when he's trying to ride up the climbs on his mangled bike. His mental state must of been all over the place being on your own going through the worst famined country going. Anyway i won't say if he succeeds or not. I'm curretly going to start the other book to it tonight
