As i woke on another wet sunday, the rain had stopped and we arranged to do a small ride of about 30 miles becuase of the weather not being realible at this time of the year. After last week i had a couple of days off my bike due to my back aching so i was back on it on wednesday in the windy and wet conditions, i rode into work fighting the elements and getting my legs back into the turning motion. So i rode to and from work each day and went out Sunday for a quick one so we went towards Meriden and then through meriden onto Eaves green road then up a little climb into the unknown for me, we went down some country lanes that were flooded and hard to ride on because of the mud. So we went on a shorter ride but the pace was fast, we climbed a few hills including the 1 that still gets us Maxstoke hill. We then went down into Water Orton, through Gilson and up into the last long steady climb as we weaved through the little back rodes we parted by Kingshurst. Even though it was cold i wore to much clothing, but it is coming into winter after all.
