Is it me or these winter nights better

Ok so its pitch black when i live for work at 6 in the evening but i have my lights on so i'm visible, i popped into Halfords last night to see if they had anything new and ineresting in. The next thing is a guy asked about my Garmin 605, he asked me what is was like to use and the ease of it, too see if is any good. He was the manager of the Halfords manager and he to was a cycling fan. We disscussed about cycling in the winter and i told him about my expedition next year to France he asked what bike am i going to use. They have a press conference in Manchester velodrome friday about the Boardman range and he thinks they will be having some touring bikes in so it might be another option for my search for a Touring bike, i have also found a Cycling forum and posted a few questions on there and had a number of replies.
