Ok so going by the tittle you think one of us came off ours bikes no i had my first puncture whilst out on the road. So we pulled into coleshill and i heard a hissing noise and a flat tired stared at me a quick shout of Geoff we pulled over to fix it. The first thing to do was to get the tire off but do you think we could get it off no after 2 tire levers later and a hole lot of blood on the walls and rims of the bike. So we fixed it and were back on the way into Meriden and we went through the hills and then progressed onto Berkswell road into the first few climbs of the new year as we pumped our legs going into Eastern green up and through down across the Coventry road onto Oak road. We made progress back into Maxstoke and up the last major climb Maxstoke hill this hill always tires you out no matter how many times you climb it. We had a rest at the top and the blood was still there on the wall, we went onto the last climb on the way home and we went our separate ways. We have never discussed having a puncture at all it is the dreaded thing but it was our first one of many to come. Later on i fixed the puncture it was the smallest of slits then i went into work.
