The meeting point was set!!

The sun was out it was 9 in the morning and i had arranged to meet geoff to go on a ride locally i thought until we left. Geoff explained the route that we was going to take a few climbs a couple of climbs and some nice downhillers. We headed out into Coleshill down maxstoke lane "wow" i thought looking at the sight right in front of my eyes on a clear day and all i could see for miles was countryside. Through arnolds lane we went and up towards packington lane, this is where the real test began a couple of steady climbs but we went downhill aswell. Into meriden up to berkswell road and more hills they weren't ending, so the next thing we turn off Berkswell road and into a sign "Welcome to Coventry"!!! Coventry flipping hell i thought no way so we continued climbing and descending down and up hills we was near home i could see the Coleshill church tower but oh no went through my head i went down it so i got to get up it i eventually got up it and my legs were ready to drop off i think. I wasn't home yet though about another 2 mile to go, so we came out of Coleshill and back the way we came there was another steady climb coming up Geoff was flying by this time but i was ready to drop down dead i think but i werent going to be beaten not by this i had the bit between my teeth and carried on turning my legs and made it up the hill and back home. Recapping on it all i still remember it as it was yesterday but this kick started something inside me!!
