Well done Geoff as we manage 45 and half miles!!

We met up at an earlier time of 8:45 am just because we was going further than normal. Geoff had a the fluto make things worse for him. We set off up through Coleshill and Shustoke into Atherstone road and up into Bentley we went. I never felt myself on the bike (probably because i had 2 days off it), anyway as we carried on riding into Bentley and riding towards Atherstone we went down Merevale lane as previously i went the opposite way up it and its hard but this time going down it was better than before as we freewheeled down the lane i went a top speed of 39 mph. We then went on into Sheepy magna, we then turned towards Orton-on-the-hill and we rode at a pace up through the country rodes that were quite and the sun was peaking through the clouds, farmers were farming and other cyclists out are we in Britain. So we rode on up a few climbs and down a few hills. Up into Austrey and No mans heath passing through the country with some stunning views where we called see for miles and miles. So we progressed into Hauton and on to Shuttington where we took a wrong turn so we headed back and carried on we was looking for a pub called "The pretty pig". Why is it you always remember where somewhere is by a pub? So we passed on through Tamworth passing the Lambs ground and we headed up the hills into Dotshill and then down into the busy Kingsbury and then swiftly onto Water Orton. Geoff had battled through this far and we stopped for moments rest before the last climb home. We then went on to Hurst lane where I left Geoff and carried on home.
Yet again Geoff battled through this sickness and well done to him.
