Ouch my stomach!

Early Sunday morning i woke up with my son at about 6-30 am, then i had some breakfast and a coffee. I exchanged texts with Geoff and we met at 8-45am, we headed towards Merevale lane but we went through Water orton and Hams hall into Lea Marston and then Middle lane through to Hurley lane and up through Atherstone road into Bentley and Baxterley onto the mammoth Merevale hill ok so its not bad coming from the way as we climbed i decided to go for it down the other side on the ascent as i was going down, i passed Geoff and yelled "I'm going for it" and Geoff yelled back, i seen my Garmin tick to 38 mph and i pedalled faster and harder to hit the 4mph but i wouldn't know until i got home. As we moved towards Pinwall and through Sheepy Magna we decided to try another route and we were going at a great rate 16.5mph (average speed). Onto Sheepy Parva and then Sibson, the wind hit us big time here as it was open as we crossed the A444 into Upton and this is where the wind was at its most worst. We rode onto Fenny Drayton into Atherstone this is where my stomach decided to have cramps and swirl around like the wind i felt sick and struggling. We passed Atherstone town centre and the golf course into Ridge Lane and we headed back onto Atherstone road by this time my stomach was in agony and i was pedealling as the best i could climbing hills seemed to put more strain on my stomach and as i tried to press on to the best i could Geoff was in front and descending towards Shustoke. There are some nasty kicks in the hills and Geoff waited patiently for me and i took his wheel we climbed into Coleshill and i took a breather before the final assault on the last few hills home. So i managed and struggled through it was hard the wind was horrible but i suppose this is what lies ahead for me and if i can get through these winter months and keep getting my legs turning the i'll be fitter for the summer and hotter days coming.
Thanks again Geoff for your patience and time, my stomach is still bad i think i got a bug but i'll keep going nothing is going to beat and keep me off my bike.
