Ok i had a week off work and had been sorting out bills etc and spending time with Alex my son and Jeni my fiance, all week i have had appointmets sorting out various things but yesterday was the first time i had chance to go out on my bike. I met Geoff normal place different time 12 o clock. We set out on the way to Coleshill to do a few timed laps on our tourers. We started off on New Inns lane and then went up through a few steep hills. I followed Geoff around first time, we done it in 26 minutes and then it was my go to lead out, I pushed hard up the hills and on the flats. I'm a pretty decent climber but these hills didn't put me off, i got up and powered my legs hammering down on the pedals, I pushed harder and harder until the finish we shaded about 55 seconds off our first lap. So we stopped and had a little chat then we went back the long way home through Water Orton. The wind had picked up a little bit but i was glad a got another 27 miles on the clock towards France.

We BOTH took 55 seconds off the lap I thought.
That was the intention. Set a target then attack it.
